Abstract
En fremgangsmåte for midlertidig å avbryte en Fischer-Tropsch type reaksjon utført på et råmateriale som omfatter minst karbonmonoksid og hydrogen i en trefase reaksjonssone som omfatter en flytende fase, en gassfase og faste katalysatorpartikler opprettholdt i suspensjon Nevnte fremgangsmåte omfatter et trinn a) å avbryte reaksjonen og et trinn b) å restarte nevnte reaksjon, i løpet av dette opprettholdes de faste katalysatorpartiklene i suspensjon i reaksjonssonen; a) i løpet av trinnet for å avbryte reaksjonen, stoppes tilførselen av råmateriale, og et teppe av en inhiberende gass som omfatter mindre enn 1 volum-% hydrogen og minst 5 volum-% av minst én inhiberende forbindelse valgt fra gruppen dannet av karbonmonoksid og vann etableres; og b) i løpet av trinnet for å restarte reaksjonen, etableres i reaksjonssonen et teppe av en aktiverende gass med et hydrogeninnhold på minst 20 volum-%, og tilførsel av råmaterialet restartes.
