Abstract
Foreliggende oppfinnelse relateres til en fremgangsmåte og et utstyr for gjenvinning av varme fra avgass som ^emes fra en industriell prosess, så som en elektrolyseprosess for fremstilling av aluminium, ved hjelp av et avsug, idet avgassen inneholder støv og/eller partikler. Varmen gjenvinnes ved at avgassen bringes i kontakt med varmeopptakende elementer. Strømningsforholdene og utformingen av de varmeopptakende elementene er slik at støvets og/eller partiklenes beleggavsetning på nevnte flater holdes på et stabilt, begrenset nivå. I foretrukne utførelser har de varmeopptakende element et sirkulært eller et langstrakt, elliptisk tverrsnitt og kan være utstyrt med flnner eller ribber.
