Abstract

Den foreliggende oppfinnelsen omhandler et designkonsept hvorved effekten, belastningene og/eller stabiliteten i en vindturbin kan kontrolleres ved,. som oftest raskt, å variere bladenes geometri ved bruk av aktiv geometristyring (feks. "smarte" materialer eller ved innfelte mekanisk aktuatorer), eller ved bruk av passiv geometristyring (feks. endringer som følger av belastning og/eller deformasjon av bladet) eller ved en kombinasjon av de to fremgangsmåtene. Oppfinnelsen omhandler særlig et vindturbinblad, en vindturbin og en fremgangsmåte for å styre en vindturbin.
