Abstract

Foreliggende oppfinnelse gjelder preparater av partikler av submikrometer- til mikrometerstørrelse av antimikrobielle midler. Nærmere bestemt gjelder oppfinnelsen et preparat av et antimikrobielt middel som gjør midlet aktivt mot organismer som normalt anses å være resistente overfor midlet. Preparatet omfatter en vandig suspensjon av partikler av submikrometer- til mikrometerstørrelse som inneholder midlet, belagt med minst én surfaktant utvalgt fra gruppen som består av ioniske surfaktanter, ikke-ioniske surfaktanter, biologisk avledede surfaktanter og aminosyrer og deres derivater. Partiklene har en volumveiet gjennomsnittelig partikkelstørrelse på mindre enn 5 (m, målt ved laserdiffraktometri.
