Abstract
Oppfinnelsen vedrører en fremgangsmåte og installasjon for å behandle gassformige effluenter produsert ved i det minste en elektrolysecelle (1).I henhold til oppfinnelsen transporteres effluentene gjennom i det minste en rørledning (11) mot behandlingsmidler (12-19) bestående av minst en reaktor (12) som kan ekstrahere de fluorerte produkter inneholdt i effluentene ved hjelp av reaksjon med pulverformet aluminium (16), og en separeringsinnretning (13) som kan separere aluminiumet som stammer fra reaktoren (12) og restgassrfaksjonen og som omfatter filtreringsmiddelet (14). Ifølge oppfinnelsen blir effluentene, før de behandles, avkjølt ved hjelp av (i) injeksjon av dråper av et kjølefluid inn i transportrørledningene (11) i minst ett punkt (P) oppstrøms for reaktoren (12) og (ii) fordampning av nevnte fluid. Oppfinnelsen kan effektivt anvendes for å avkjøle elektrolysecelleeffluenter uten å påvirke driften derav.
