Abstract
Anordning og fremgangsmåte for detektering av kjennetegnende trekk ved et medium som er helt eller delvis gjennomsiktig, der nevnte medium er anbringbart i et observasjonsområde i en lysbane som strekker seg mellom en lyskilde og en lysdetektor, der nevnte medium belyses av lyskilden i observasjonsområdet, der det er anbrakt i tilknytning til observasjonsområdet minst ett lysdirigerende, optisk element. Det detekteres kun gjennom nevnte medium transmittert lys som avbøyes av nevnte medium når dette befinner seg i nevnte område og dermed bevirker endring av lysretning i nevnte område. Karakteristika for nevnte medium bestemmes ved spektrometri av det mottatte lysavbøyde lys, og det anvendes et bølgelengdeselektivt element ved en posisjon i lysbanen, enten ved eller som del av lyskilden eller lysdetektoren.
