Abstract

The mower is for a long-stem crop, having a number of rotors alongside each other on vertical axes with knives. The rotors are mounted on spring arms(5) pivoting on vertical axes(4), so that when working two adjacent rotors can hinge outwards away from each other. Stops are provided to limit the amount for which they can swing towards each other. The revolution speed of each rotor is approx. 1500-2000 r.p.m.
