Title: Trampoline device, trampoline platform, kit of parts, and methodTitle: Trampoline device, trampoline platform, kit of parts, and method

The invention relates to a trampoline device, comprising a trampoline, in particular a recreational trampoline for home use, and a trampoline stairs for climbing onto the trampoline. The invention relates to a trampoline device, including a trampoline, in particular a recreational trampoline for home use, and a trampoline stairs for climbing onto the trampoline.

Trampoline devices are known, and are for instance marketed by the company BERG toys B.V. Usually, known trampoline devices comprise trampolines with a bounce mat, or so-called trampoline bed, which is suspended by means of a frame of the trampoline. Commonly, the bounce mat is connected to the frame by means of multiple coiled springs, thereby enabling a user of the trampoline to bounce on the trampoline. The frame, which can comprise a suspension part that can substantially enclose said bounce mat, is often provided with legs or other supports to support said suspension part above the ground, for instance such that the connection between the bounce mat and the frame is located between 50 cm and 100 cm above the ground.Trampoline devices are known, and are marketed for by the company BERG toys B.V. The suspension part and the coil springs, by means of which the bounce mat is suspended, are usually covered by means of one or multiple pads. This can counteract impact injuries in case a person jumping or bouncing on the trampoline does not neatly land onto the bounce mat. Moreover the pads or so-called padding may also reduce the risk of a limb, e.g. leg or arm, falling between the springs. The suspension part and coil springs, by means of which the bounce mat is suspended, are usually covered by means or one or multiple pads. This can counteract impact injuries in a person jumping or bouncing on the trampoline does not land onto the bounce mat. Moreover the pads or so-called padding may also reduce the risk of a limb, e.g. leg or arm, falling between the springs.

As a further safety measure, trampoline devices are often provided with a substantially upwardly extending safety net or so-called retaining net disposed substantially around the bounce mat. The safety net usually is suspended by means of multiple upright poles, which for instance can be mounted to the legs or supports of the trampoline. Commonly, the net has, when seen in the circumferential direction of the trampoline, two overlapping end parts, which are not fixed to each other, but which can be moved away from each other by a user in order to provide an entrance for entering the trampoline. Often, the safety net will be arranged such that said entrance is self-closing, e.g. by weighting one of the overlapping portions of the safety net and/or by biasing at least one of said overlapping portions towards the respective other overlapping portion. It will be appreciated that entering a trampoline, in particular an elevated trampoline, provided with a safety net, especially a safety net having a self-closing entrance, can be relatively cumbersome, especially when the user of the trampoline device is relatively large, e.g. relatively tall, and/or when the user is not so limber. As a further safety measure, trampoline devices are often provided with a substantially upwardly extending safety net or so-called retaining net disposed substantially around the bounce mat. It will be appreciated that entering a trampoline, in particular an elevated trampoline, provided with a safety net, especially a safety net having a self-closing entrance, can be relatively cumbersome, especially when the user of the trampoline device is relatively large, eg relatively tall, and / or when the user is not so limber.

Besides, for instance also in cases in which the bounce mat of the trampoline is not enclosed by a safety net, users, in particular relatively short people, e.g. a relatively young children, or people not being so limber, may also have difficulties entering elevated trampolines, in particular when the trampoline is relatively high.Besides, for instance also in cases in which the bounce mat of the trampoline is not enclosed by a safety net, users, in particular relatively short people, eg a relatively young children, or people not being so limber, may also have difficulties entering elevated trampolines, in particular when the trampoline is relatively high.

It is noted that trampoline devices are known which comprise a rigid ladder leaning for instance against the suspension part of the frame of the trampoline. Although such a ladder may ease climbing onto the trampoline to some extent, users may still encounter difficulties entering the bounce mat of the trampoline, in particular when a (self-closing) safety net is enclosing said bounce mat.It is noted that trampoline devices are known to include a rigid ladder leaning for instance against the suspension part of the frame of the trampoline. Although such a ladder may ease climbing onto the trampoline to some extent, users may still encounter difficulties entering the bounce mat or the trampoline, in particular when a (self-closing) safety net is enclosing said bounce mat.

It is an object of the invention to provide an alternative trampoline device. In particular, it can be an object of the invention to provide a trampoline device, in particular with an elevated trampoline, wherein at least one of the disadvantages of the prior art trampoline devices is counteracted. More in particular, the invention may aim to provide a trampoline device, wherein at least one of the disadvantages mentioned above is counteracted. In embodiments, the invention aims at providing a trampoline device having a trampoline which is accessible relatively easily. It is an object of the invention to provide an alternative trampoline device. More in particular, the invention may aim to provide a trampoline device, at least one of the disadvantages mentioned above is counteracted. In terms of invention, the invention aims at providing a trampoline device having a trampoline which is accessible relatively easily.

Thereto, in a first aspect, the invention provides for a trampoline device, comprising a trampoline with a frame for holding a bounce mat, and a trampoline stairs, said stairs having at least one step, and said trampoline stairs being for climbing onto the trampoline, wherein the trampoline device further comprises a platform or so-called support platform being attached to the trampoline frame and, at least when seen from above, extending at least substantially outside said trampoline frame.Thereto, in a first aspect, the invention provides for a trampoline device, including a trampoline with a frame for holding a bounce mat, and a trampoline stairs, said stairs having at least one step, and said trampoline stairs being for climbing onto the trampoline , the trampoline device further comprises a platform or so-called support platform being attached to the trampoline frame and, at least when seen from above, extending at least substantially outside said trampoline frame.

By providing the trampoline device with a platform attached to the trampoline frame and extending at least substantially outside said trampoline frame, a user who climbed onto the stairs can post himself or herself on top of the platform before stepping onto the trampoline. It will be appreciated that this can ease entering the bounce mat of the trampoline, in particular when the user has to twist oneself through a (self-closing) entrance in a safety net of a netted trampoline. Additionally or alternatively, the platform can also ease leaving the trampoline, as a user can first step of the bounce mat, before stepping onto the stairs.By providing the trampoline device with a platform attached to the trampoline frame and extending at least substantially outside said trampoline frame, a user who climbed onto the stairs can post himself or herself on top of the platform before stepping onto the trampoline. It will be appreciated that this can ease entering the bounce mat or the trampoline, in particular when the user has to twist oneself through a (self-closing) entrance in a safety net or a netted trampoline. Additionally or alternatively, the platform can also ease leaving the trampoline, as a user can first step of the bounce mat, before stepping onto the stairs.

It will be appreciated that the platform may be relatively rigid and/or immovable with respect to the resiliently suspended bounce mat and/or with respect to the flexible padding that covers springs for resiliently suspending said bounce mat. Hence, said relatively rigid and/or immovable platform may facilitate that one can relatively easy and/or relatively safely step onto the stairs when leaving the trampoline. On the other hand, a user wanting to enter the trampoline can first step onto a relatively rigid and/or immovable rigid part of the trampoline device, after said user climbed the stairs, and can then enter the trampoline from said relatively rigid and/or immovable rigid part.It will be appreciated that the platform may be relatively rigid and / or immovable with respect to the resiliently suspended bounce mat and / or with respect to the flexible padding that covers springs for resiliently suspending said bounce mat. Hence, said relatively rigid and / or immovable platform may facilitate that one can be relatively easy and / or relatively safely step onto the stairs when leaving the trampoline. On the other hand, a user wanting to enter the trampoline can first step onto a relatively rigid and / or immovable rigid part of the trampoline device, after said user climbed the stairs, and can then enter the trampoline from said relatively rigid and / or immovable rigid part.

Further, it will be appreciated that the platform, or at least an upper surface thereof, can be located at a height level located relatively close to the height level of the bounce mat, the height level of padding covering springs suspending said bounce mat and/or the height level of an upper end of the frame. For example, the difference between the height level of the platform and the respective other height level, can be less than 25 cm, e.g. less than 20 cm, such as less than 15 cm or even less than 10 cm. Although the height level of the platform and/or that of its upper surface may preferably lie lower than the height level of the padding covering the springs and/or the height level of an upper end of the frame, it may alternatively be located substantially equally high as the respective other height level and/or slightly higher than said respective other height level, e.g. less than 25 cm, 20 cm, 15 cm or 10 cm higher than said respective other height level.Further, it will be appreciated that the platform, or at least an upper surface, can be located at a height level located relatively close to the height level of the bounce mat, the height level of padding covering springs suspending said bounce mat and / or the height level or an upper end of the frame. By arranging the trampoline device and/or the platform such that it can enable a person to sit on an upper face of said platform, the platform may provide a relatively rigid seat. An advantage thereof may for instance he in that a user climbing onto the stairs can sit down, e.g. in order to take off his or her shoes. Additionally or alternatively, the user may for instance use the platform to sit thereon to put on his shoes after leaving the trampoline and before descending the stairs.By arranging the trampoline device and / or the platform such that it can enable a person to sit on an upper face or said platform, the platform may provide a relatively rigid seat. An advantage that may be for instance in that user climbing on the stairs can sit down, e.g. in order to take off his or her shoes. Additionally or alternatively, the user may use the platform to sit on his shoes after leaving the trampoline and before descending the stairs.

For example, an upper face of the support platform can be substantially larger than an upper face of the at least one step of the stairs, said upper face of the support platform may for instance be covering at least two, three or four times the surface area covered by the upper face of said at least one step. Additionally or alternatively, the upper face of the support platform can cover a surface area of at least 250 cm2, preferably at least 300 cm2, 350 cm2, 400 cm2 or 450 cm2, for example at least 500 cm2, for instance to provide ample space for a user to stand and/or to sit thereon. In embodiments, the support platform or its upper face may have such dimensions that it can enclose an imaginary circle having a diameter of for instance at least 15 cm, at least 20 cm or at least 25 cm.For example, an upper face of the support platform can be substantially larger than an upper face of the least one step of the stairs, said upper face of the support platform may be an instance of covering the least two, three or four times the surface area covered by the upper face or said at least one step. Additionally or alternatively, the upper face of the support platform can cover a surface area of at least 250 cm 2 , preferably at least 300 cm 2 , 350 cm 2 , 400 cm 2 or 450 cm 2 , for example at least 500 cm 2 , for instance to provide ample space for a user to stand and / or to sit thereon. In dimensions, the support platform or its upper face may have such dimensions that it may enclose an imaginary circle having a diameter or for instance at least 15 cm, at least 20 cm or at least 25 cm.

In embodiments, the trampoline device may be provided with a storage compartment, in particular for storing footwear, more in particular for storing shoes, of a user of the trampoline device. For example, said storage compartment may comprise a mat or pouch for holding footwear. In various cases, the trampoline device may be provided with a storage compartment, in particular for footwear, more in particular for fault shoes, or a user of the trampoline device. For example, said storage compartment may include a mat or pouch for holding footwear.

Advantageously, the storage compartment can be located below the platform. Preferably, said storage compartment can be suspended at least partly by the platform and/or at least partly by the at least one step of the stairs, or in case the stairs comprises multiple steps, an upper one of the step of said stairs.Advantageously, the storage compartment can be located below the platform. Preferably, said storage compartment can be suspended at least partly by the platform and / or at least partly by the least one step of the stairs, or in case the stairs comprises multiple steps, an upper one of the step of said stairs.

In embodiments, the platform or its upper face can have a first side edge attached to the trampoline frame, and a second side edge attached to the stairs. Advantageously, the first side edge and the second side edge can be at an angle with respect to each other, preferably at an angle between 20° and 130°, more preferably an angle larger than 30°, 40° or 50° and/or smaller than 110°, 90°, 80° or 70°, such as for instance about 60°.In issue, the platform or its upper face can have a first side edge attached to the trampoline frame, and a second side edge attached to the stairs. Advantageously, the first side edge and the second side edge can be at an angle with respect to each other, preferably at an angle between 20 ° and 130 °, more preferably an angle larger than 30 °, 40 ° or 50 ° and / or narrower than 110 °, 90 °, 80 ° or 70 °, such as for instance about 60 °.

In embodiments, the platform or its upper face can have a substantially triangular shape. One of three side edges of such substantially triangular shape may be hung onto the frame of the trampoline, whereas another one of said three side edges may be supported by the stairs, which preferably may be formed by a substantially rigid ladder, and which may stand upon the ground surface with a lower end of said stairs. It is noted that the platform may preferably be located at the upper end of the stairs. However, in alternative embodiments, the stairs may extend past the platform. For example, stiles and/or other parts of the stairs may protrude above said platform. In versions, the platform or its upper face can have a substantially triangular shape. One of three side edges of such substantially triangular shape may be hung onto the frame of the trampoline, whereas another one of said three side edges may be supported by the stairs, which may have been formed by a substantial rigid ladder, and which may stand upon the ground surface with a lower end of said stairs. It is noted that the platform may be located at the upper end of the stairs. However, in alternative alternative, the stairs may extend fits the platform. For example, stiles and / or other parts of the stairs may protrude above said platform.

Advantageously, when seen from above, the stairs can be extending away from the trampoline frame in a direction other than transverse to the frame and/or a direction other than transverse to a suspension part of the frame, which suspension part can be enclosing the bounce mat. Hence, it may be enabled that a lateral side or flank of the stairs may be substantially facing a support leg of the trampoline and/or a pole for supporting the safety net. As a result, said leg and/or said safety net pole may be utilized as a handrail, thereby allowing a user to ascend or descend the stairs in a relatively comfortably and/or safe manner.Advantageously, when seen from above, the stairs can be extended away from the trampoline frame in a direction other than transverse to the frame and / or a direction other than transverse to a suspension part of the frame, which suspension part can be enclosing the bounce mat. It is noted that the trampoline 2 of the shown embodiment can preferably be a recreational trampoline, in particular a recreational trampoline for home use.It is noted that the trampoline 2 of the shown version can be preferably a recreational trampoline, in particular a recreational trampoline for home use.

Additionally, or alternatively, the trampoline 2 can preferably be an elevated trampoline, the frame of which then thus not is an inground frame.Additionally, or alternatively, the trampoline 2 can preferably be an elevated trampoline, the frame or which then is not an inground frame.

The trampoline 2 has a frame for holding a bounce mat 5 or 10 so-called trampoline bed 5. Said bounce mat 5 can comprise and/or be a piece of fabric, in particular a piece of relatively non-elastic fabric. The bounce mat 5, especially a taut bounce mat 5, can for instance be connected to the frame by means of multiple springs (not shown), in particular coiled springs, which may stretch the bounce mat 5 thereby enabling a user of the trampoline to bounce on the trampoline 2. In particular, the bounce mat 5 may be suspended to a suspension part 20 (see Fig. 4) of the frame. Said suspension part 20 may for instance substantially enclose said bounce matThe trampoline 2 has a frame for holding a bounce mat 5 or 10 so-called trampoline bed 5. In particular, the bounce mat 5 may be suspended to a suspension part 20 (see Fig. 4) or the frame. Said suspension part 20 may for instance substantially and close said bounce mat

5. In particular, the suspension part can comprise a profile, e.g. formed as a hollow tube, which can substantially surround the bounce mat 5. The frame may be provided with legs 21 or other supports to support said suspension part above the ground 6. In embodiments, the connection between the bounce mat 5 and the frame can be located between 40 cm and 100 cm above the ground 6. For example, the trampoline 2, its bounce mat 5 and/or a top side of the frame, in particular an upper side of the suspension part 20, may be located between 40 cm and 120 cm above the ground 6, for instance at a height of at least 40 cm, at least 50 cm, at least 55 cm, at least 60 cm or at least 65, such as about 70 cm above the ground 6, and/or at a height less than 110 cm, preferably less than 100 cm, such as about 95 cm, about 90 cm or about 85 cm above the ground 6.5. In particular, the suspension part can include a profile, eg formed as a hollow tube, which can be substantially surround the bounce mat 5. The frame may be provided with legs 21 or other supports to support said suspension part above the ground 6. In different, the connection between the bounce mat 5 and the frame can be located between 40 cm and 100 cm above the ground 6. For example, the trampoline 2, its bounce mat 5 and / or a top side of the frame, in particular an upper side of the suspension part 20, may be located between 40 cm and 120 cm above the ground 6, for instance at a height of at least 40 cm, at least 50 cm, at least 55 cm, at least 60 cm or at least 65, such as about 70 cm above the ground 6, and / or at a height less than 110 cm, preferably less than 100 cm, such as about 95 cm, about 90 cm or about 85 cm above the ground 6.

As further can be seen in Fig. 1, the trampoline 2 can be embodied as a netted trampoline. This is, the trampoline device 1 may be provided with a safety net 8 or so-called retaining net 8, which may counteract that a user of the trampoline device 1 will accidentally jump or bounce off the trampoline 2 and land onto the ground 6 situated substantially lower than the top side 22 of the trampoline 2.As further can be seen in FIG. 1, the trampoline 2 can be embodied as a netted trampoline. This is, the trampoline device 1 may be provided with a safety net 8 or so-called retaining net 8, which may counteract a user of the trampoline device 1 will accidentally jump or bounce off the trampoline 2 and land onto the ground 6 situated substantially lower than the top side 22 of the trampoline 2.

The safety net 8 may be extending substantially upwardly. Additionally or alternatively, the safety net 8 may be disposed substantially around the bounce mat 5. For example, the safety net 8 may be suspended by means of multiple upright poles 81. Preferably, said poles 81 may be padded, e.g. by means of a layer of foam or rubberlike material. Said poles 81, for example at lower ends of said poles 81, can for instance be attached or mounted to the legs 21 or supports of the trampoline 2. Further, upper ends of the net suspending poles 81 may be interconnected by means of traverses 82 or the like. The safety net 8 may be extending substantially upwardly. Additionally or alternatively, the safety net 8 may be substantially wrapped around the bounce mat 5. For example, the safety net 8 may be suspended by means of multiple upright poles 81. Preferably, said poles 81 may be padded, eg by means of a layer of foam or rubberlike material. Said poles 81, for example at lower ends of said poles 81, can for instance be attached or mounted to the legs 21 or supports the trampoline 2. Further, upper ends of the net suspending poles 81 may be interconnected by means of traverses 82 or the like.

When seen in the circumferential direction of the trampoline 2, the safety net 8 can have two overlapping end parts 83, 84, which are not fixed to each other. In order to provide an entrance for entering the netted trampoline 2, a user can move said overlapping net end parts 83, 84 away from each other, e.g. more or less in a direction substantially transverse to the upwardly extending net, e.g. more or less in a radial direction of the trampoline 2 in case of a circular trampoline. Here, the outer one 83 of the overlapping end parts is provided with a weight such that said outer part 83 will, in rest, hang against the inner one 84 of the overlapping safety net end parts, thereby forming a self-closing entrance. When seen in the circumferential direction of the trampoline 2, the safety net 8 can have two overlapping end parts 83, 84, which are not fixed to each other. As an additional or as an alternative safety measure, the suspension part 20 of the frame of the trampoline 2, and also the coil springs, may be covered by padding 7, e.g. formed by one or more pads. Further, as noted above, the trampoline device 1 comprises a trampoline stairs 3 for climbing onto the trampoline 2. Fig. 2 shows a schematic perspective view of a trampoline stairs 3 and a platform 4 corresponding with the trampoline stairs and the platform of the trampoline device 1 of Fig. 1. As can be seen in Fig. 2, the stairs 3, in particular a rigid ladder 30, can be attached to the platform 4, e.g. attached to an upper end of said stairs 3 or ladder 30. Preferably, the stairs 3 can be releasable attachable to the platform 4, for example by means of one or more plugs and one or more corresponding sockets. Advantageously, the trampoline stairs 3 can be releasable attached to the platform 4 in a lockable manner, such as by means of interlocking parts, e.g. interlocking pins 33 and holes 34, for instance in which the pins are biased towards their locking positions, e.g. by means of springs.Advantageously, the trampoline stairs 3 can be released attached to the platform 4 in a lockable manner, such as by means of interlocking parts, eg interlocking pins 33 and holes 34, for instance in which the pins are biased towards their locking positions, eg by means of springs.

Additionally or alternatively, the platform 4 can be releasable attachable to the trampoline 2, in particular releasable attachable to the frame of the trampoline, more in particular the suspension part 20 of said frame. Thereto, the platform 4 may be provided with one or more anchors 40 or one or more connectors 40, e.g. formed as hooks 40. Moreover, it is noted that the trampoline frame may be provided with attachment means, such as hooks for suspending the platform 4. However, as it may be advantageously, that the platform can be used in combination with different, e.g. already available, trampolines, it is preferred that the platform is provided with attachment means, in particular attachment means that cooperate with existing trampoline frames. It is further noted that the one or more, preferably two, stiles 32 or rails 32, can support the platform 4 during use. A lower end of the stairs 3 may stand on the ground surface 6. Although the lower end stile 32 may stand directly on the ground, such lower end may be provided with a foot 36, bottom beam 35 and/or bottom plate and/or the like, e.g. to spread the pressure applied by the stairs 3 over a relatively large area.It is further noted that the one or more, preferably two, stiles 32 or rails 32, can support the platform 4 during use. The connection between the platform 4 and the stairs 3 can preferably be substantially firm and/or substantially immovable, whereas the connection between the platform 4 and the trampoline frame may then allow some play, e.g. by at least being at least partly pivotable to some extent, thereby for instance facilitating that the stairs 3 may be used for trampolines 2 having different heights. Alternatively, the connection between the stairs 3 and the platform 4 may allow some play, e.g. by at least being at least partly pivotable to some extent, whereas the connection between the platform 4 and the trampoline frame may then preferably be substantially rigid, e.g. to counteract that the platform may turn over accidentally. The connection between the platform 4 and the stairs 3 can preferably be substantially firm and / or substantially immovable, whereas the connection between the platform 4 and the trampoline frame may then allow some play, eg by being at least partly pivotable to some extent , wait for instance facilitating the stairs 3 may be used for trampolines 2 having different heights. However, alternatively or additionally, it may be arranged in a different manner that a certain trampoline stairs 3 can be used with trampolines 2 of different heights. As for instance can be seen relatively well in Fig. 3, which shows a top view of the trampoline device 1 of Fig. 1, the platform 4, which is attached to the trampoline frame, extends at least substantially outside said trampoline frame. As for instance can be seen as relatively well in Figs. 3, which shows a top view of the trampoline device 1 or Fig. 1, the platform 4, which is attached to the trampoline frame, extends at least substantially outside said trampoline frame.

For example, at least a relatively large part of the upper face 47 of the support platform 4 can extend outside the frame, and preferably completely outside the trampoline 2. For example, said upper face 47, or at least a part thereof extending outside the frame, can cover a surface area of at least 250 cm2, preferably at least 300 cm2, 350 cm2, 400 cm2 or 450 cm2, for example at least 500 cm2, for instance to provide ample space for a user to stand and/or to sit thereon. In embodiments, the support platform 4 or its upper face may be dimensioned such that it can enclose an imaginary circle having a diameter of for instance at least 15 cm, at least 20 cm or at least 25 cm.For example, at least a relatively large part of the upper face 47 of the support platform 4 can extend outside the frame, and preferably completely outside the trampoline 2. In version, the support platform 4 or its upper face may be dimensioned such that it may enclose an imaginary circle having a diameter or for instance at least 15 cm, at least 20 cm or at least 25 cm.

Advantageously, the upper face 47 of the support platform 4 can be substantially larger than an upper face 37 of the at least one step 31 of the stairs 3, preferably larger than any of the upper faces 37 of any one of the steps 31A, 31B. Said upper face 47 of the support platform 4 may for instance cover at least two, three or four times the surface area covered by the upper face 37 of the respective step 31. Actually, as can be seen in Fig. 3, said upper face 47 of the support platform 4 may for instance cover an even larger surface area, for instance it may cover at least eight or at least ten times the surface area covered by the upper face 37 of the respective step 31.Advantageously, the upper face 47 of the support platform 4 can be substantially larger than an upper face 37 of the least one step 31 of the stairs 3, preferably larger than any of the upper faces 37 or any one of the steps 31A, 31B . Said upper face 47 or the support platform 4 may for instance cover at least two, three or four times the surface area covered by the upper face 37 or the respective step 31. Actually, as can be seen in Figs. 3, said upper face 47 of the support platform 4 may for instance cover an equally larger surface area, for instance it may cover at least eight or at least the surface area covered by the upper face 37 of the respective step 31.

Further, it is noted that the platform 4, or at least an upper surface 47 thereof, can be located at a height level located relatively close to the height level of the bounce mat 5, the height level of the padding 7 covering the springs suspending said bounce mat and/or the height level of an upper end 22 of the frame. For example, the difference 49 between the height level of the platform 4 and the respective other height level, can be less than 25 cm, e.g. less than 20 cm, such as less than 15 cm or even less than 10 cm. Alternatively or additionally, said difference 49 in height level may be substantially smaller than the difference 39A in height level between the upper face 41 of the platform 4 and the upper face 37B of the adjacent step 31B directly there below, the difference 39B in height level between the upper faces 37, 37B of two subsequent steps 31, 31B and/or the difference 39C in height level between the upper face 37 of the lowest step 31A and the ground surface 6.Further, it is noted that the platform 4, or at least an upper surface 47, can be located at a height level located relatively close to the height level of the bounce mat 5, the height level of the padding 7 covering the springs suspending said bounce mat and / or the height level of an upper end 22 of the frame. As for instance can be seen in the Figures, the platform 4 or its upper face 41 can have a substantially triangular shape. For instance, it may be substantially shaped as a circular sector, in particular a minor sector, more in particular a minor circle sector covering between 1/5 and 1/4 of a full circle, e.g. substantially shaped as a sextant and/or substantially covering about 1/6 of a full circle. It will be appreciated that the side edges 41, 42, 43 of such triangular shape do not need to be straight and that the corners of the triangular shape may for instance be rounded off or chamfered. As for instance can be seen in the Figures, the platform 4 or its upper face 41 can have a substantially triangular shape. It will be appreciated that the side edges 41, 42, 43 or such triangular shape do not need to be straight and that the corners of the triangular shape may be rounded off or chamfered.

Additionally or alternatively, the platform 4 or its upper face 47 can have a first side edge 41 attached to the trampoline frame, and a second side edge 42 attached to the trampoline stairs 3. For instance in case of a substantially triangular platform, two corner portions 44, 46 of the platform located at the ends of the third side edge 43 may then each be supported by the trampoline frame and the stairs 3, respectively. The third corner portion 45 of the platform 4 may then be supported by the frame and/or the stairs 3. Due to such substantially triangular shape of the platform, it can be counteracted that there is a protruding corner portion of the platform and/or other protruding portion of the platform which is not supported relatively well. The triangular shape may thus enable a relatively safe support platform 4, e.g. without the need of any further supports for the platform. This may facilitate a relatively sturdy mount of the platform 4 on the one hand, whereas it nevertheless also may look relatively elegant on the other hand.Additionally or alternatively, the platform 4 or its upper face 47 can have a first side edge 41 attached to the trampoline frame, and a second side edge 42 attached to the trampoline stairs 3. It is noted that, for example, the platform 4 or its upper face 41 may be formed substantially as an substantially equilateral triangle, e.g. having angles of about 60°.It is noted that, for example, the platform 4 or its upper face 41 may be formed substantially as an substantially equilateral triangle, e.g. having angles of about 60 °.

In embodiments, such as for instance can be seen in Fig. 3, the first edge 41 of the platform 4 can be concave and/or arcuate at its outer side, e.g. to follow a frame part, in particular the suspension part 20, when said part is bent, in particular in case of a circular trampoline 2. However, it is noted that the trampoline 2, its frame and/or the bounce mat 5 does not need to be circular, for instance it can have a square, rectangular or polygonal shape. In embodiment, such as for instance can be seen in FIG. 3, the first edge 41 of the platform 4 can be concave and / or arcuate at its outer side, eg to follow a frame part, in particular the suspension part 20, when said part is, in particular in case of a circular trampoline 2. However, it is noted that the trampoline 2, its frame and / or the bounce mat 5 does not need to be circular, for instance it can have a square, rectangular or polygonal shape.

Advantageously, the first side edge 41 and the second side edge 42 can be at an angle with respect to each other, preferably at an angle a between 20° and 130°, more preferably an angle a larger than 30°, 40° or 50° and/or smaller than 110°, 90°, 80° or 70°, such as for instance about 60°. Additionally, or alternatively, the at least one step 31, or in case of a trampoline stairs 3 comprising multiple steps 31 at least an upper one 31B of the steps, which upper one 31B is located directly subjacent the platform 4, can be extending substantially parallel with the second side edge 42 of the platform 4. It is noted that substantially parallel may in this context be meant as meaning that an angle between the width direction 31W of said step 31 and the width direction 42W of the second side edge 42 of the platform 4 is smaller than 20°, preferably smaller than 15° or 10°, more preferably even less than 5°.Advantageously, the first side edge 41 and the second side edge 42 can be at an angle with respect to each other, preferably at an angle between 20 ° and 130 °, more preferably an angle with a greater than 30 °, 40 ° or 50 ° and / or narrower than 110 °, 90 °, 80 ° or 70 °, such as for instance about 60 °. Additionally, or alternatively, the at least one step 31, or in case of a trampoline stairs 3 including multiple steps 31 at least an upper one 31B or the steps, which upper one 31B is located directly subjacent to the platform 4, can be extending substantially parallel with the second side edge 42 of the platform 4. It is noted that substantially parallel may in this context be meant as meaning that an angle between the width direction 31W or said step 31 and the width direction 42W or the second side edge 42 or the platform 4 is narrower than 20 °, preferably narrower than 15 ° or 10 °, more preferably even less than 5 °.

Advantageously, the platform 4 can be attached or mounted to the frame at a location relative nearby a support leg 21 of the trampoline and/or relatively nearby a safety net pole 81, for instance in order to enable that said leg 21 or pole 81 may be used by a user as a handrail or support when accessing and/or leaving the trampoline 2. In this context, it is noted that relative nearby the respective support leg 21 and/or relatively nearby the respective safety net pole 81 may be understood at least as meaning that the distance between the respective leg 21A or the respective pole 81A and the platform 4 smaller than 50%, preferably smaller than 20%, e.g. smaller than 10% of the distance between said platform 4 and the pole 81B or leg 21B located at the opposite side of the platform 4.Advantageously, the platform 4 can be attached or mounted to the frame at a location relative nearby a support leg 21 of the trampoline and / or relatively nearby a safety net pole 81, for instance in order to enable that said leg 21 or pole 81 may be used by a user as a handrail or support when accessing and / or leaving the trampoline 2. Additionally or alternatively, the platform 4 may substantially abut the respective safety net pole 81 or the respective leg 21, and/or the distance between said pole 81A or said leg 21 on the one hand and said platform 4 on the other hand may be smaller than 30 cm, preferably smaller than 25 or 20 cm, such as smaller than 15 or 10 cm.Additionally or alternatively, the platform 4 may substantially abut the respective safety net pole 81 or the respective leg 21, and / or the distance between said pole 81A or said leg 21 on the one hand and said platform 4 on the other hand may be narrower than 30 cm, preferably narrower than 25 or 20 cm, such as narrower than 15 or 10 cm.

When seen from above, see in particular for instance Fig. 3, the stairs 3 may extend away from the trampoline frame in a direction 3D other than transverse to the frame or transverse to the suspension part 20 of the frame. For example, an angle 6 between said direction 3D and the tangent line 23 to the frame or suspension part at the location where the platform is attached to the trampoline frame can be between 20° and 130°, more preferably an angle 6 larger than 30°, 40° or 50° and/or smaller than 110°,When seen from above, see in particular for instance Fig. 3, the stairs 3 may extend away from the trampoline frame in one direction 3D other than transverse to the frame or transverse to the suspension part 20 of the frame. 90°, 80° or 70°, such as for instance about 60°. As a result, as for instance can be seen in Fig. 4, which shows a side view of the trampoline device 1 of Fig.90 °, 80 ° or 70 °, such as for instance about 60 °. As a result, as for instance can be seen in FIG. 4, which shows a side view of the trampoline device 1 or Fig.

1, and as also can be seen in Fig. 1, a lateral side 38 or flank 38 of the stairs 3 may be substantially facing a support leg 21 of the trampoline 2 and/or a pole 81 for supporting the safety net 8. Hence, said leg 21 and/or said safety net pole 81 may be utilized as a handrail by a user ascending or descending the stairs 3 in a relatively comfortably manner, for instance because such arrangement counteracts that the stairs 30 may block access to the pole 81 and/or to the leg 21, in particular when the platform 4 is attached to the frame nearby said leg 21 and/or pole 81.1, and as can also be seen in FIG. 1, a lateral side 38 or flank 38 of the stairs 3 may be substantially facing a support leg 21 of the trampoline 2 and / or a pole 81 for supporting the safety net 8. Hence, said leg 21 and / or said safety net pole 81 may be utilized as a handrail by a user ascending or descending the stairs 3 in a relatively comfortably manner, for instance because such arrangement counteracts that the stairs 30 may block access to the pole 81 and / or to the leg 21, in particular when the platform 4 is attached to the frame nearby said leg 21 and / or pole 81.

As may be understood from Fig. 3, when entering the trampoline 2 or when leaving the trampoline 2, in particular when seen from above, one may pivot to some extent about the pole 81 and/or to the leg 21, more or less as one will do on a winding staircase. In the here shown embodiment, the stairs 3 is extending in a straight direction 3D, but the stairs 3 itself and/or its rails 32 or so-called stiles 32 may wind, especially in a direction around the respective pole 81 and/or the respective support leg 21.As may be understood from FIG. 3, when entering the trampoline 2 or when leaving the trampoline 2, in particular when seen from above, one may pivot to some extent about the pole 81 and / or to the leg 21, more or less as one will do on a winding staircase . In the figure shown here, the stairs 3 is extending in a straight direction 3D, but the stairs 3 itself and / or its rails 32 or so-called stiles 32 may wind, especially in a direction around the respective pole 81 and / or the respective support leg 21.

Moreover, the above mentioned optional arrangement in which the stairs 3 may extend away from the trampoline frame in a direction 3D other than transverse to the frame or transverse to the suspension part 20 of the frame, may also simplify entering a netted trampoline. For example, the direction 30D in which a user climbing onto the stairs is approaching the trampoline 2, or at least the horizontal component of said direction 30D, can be relatively well in line with a direction 8D in which a user moves between the overlapping portions 83, 84 of the safety net 8 when entering the netted trampoline.
