Abstract
A scrubber solution comprising a mixture of alkaline solutions, inorganic salt and water, wherein the alkaline solutions are sodium hydroxide and sodium sulphide, wherein the inorganic salt is sodium thiosulphate and wherein the sodium hydroxide is used at weight concentration ranging from 0.2% to 75.8% in the scrubber solution, the sodium thiosulphate is used at weight concentration ranging from 0.1% to 50% in the scrubber solution, the sodium sulphide is used at weight concentration ranging from 0.1% to 30% in the scrubber solution and wherein the water will occupy the balance to make up the scrubber solution to 100%.
