Abstract

A dental implant fixture (1A) according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a narrow groove (4), which includes a first side wall (42) nearer a distal end (21) of the fixture and a second side wall (43) nearer a basal end (22) of the fixture. The first side wall is spaced more from a first reference plane (S2) as the first side wall is more away from a first bottom (41). The second side wall extends parallel to the first reference plane or is spaced more from the first reference plane as the second side wall is more away from the first bottom. The first side wall and the first reference plane form an angle ? that is larger than an angle ? formed by the second side wall and the first reference plane. A dental implant (10) includes the dental implant fixture.
