Abstract

A process of producing low protein natural rubber article includes the step of preparing the natural rubber latex for producing the low protein natural rubber article, which includes combining the natural rubber latex concentrate with a number of compounding chemicals including a protein deduct agent such as Sodium thiosulphate during an initial step of the natural rubber article production process. The process of producing low protein natural rubber article further includes the steps of preparing at least one former for producing the low protein natural rubber article, immersing the former that coated with coagulant in the natural rubber latex added with the compounding chemicals for a desired duration, proceeding with further processing of the natural rubber latex including vulcanizing of the rubber, leaching, beading, powdering or chlorination and/or polymer coating and stripping the low protein natural rubber article from the former. The process of adding the Sodium thiosulphate as protein deduct agent into natural rubber latex reduce total protein content level in the natural rubber article. The process of adding compounding chemicals including the Sodium thiosulphate as protein deduct agent enhances the properties of latex including elasticity, prevents allergic reactions and stabilizes the latex article material and increases its shelf life.
