Abstract
THE PRESENT INVENTION PROVIDES A METHOD FOR FRACTIONATING AN OIL COMPOSITION CONTAINING AT LEAST 80% BY WEIGHT OF DIACYIGLYCEROL INTO A SOLID FRACTION AND A LIQUID FRACTION, WHICH HEATS THE OIL COMPOSITION TO AN ELEVATED TEMPERATURE, COOLS THE OIL COMPOSITION TO DEPOSIT CRYSTALS AT A COOLING RATE OF 0.05°C/MM TO 3.00°C/MM TO AN END-TEMPERATURE IN THE RANGE OF 30°C TO 50°C WHILE STIRRING TO OBTAIN CRYSTAL SLURRY, AND FRACTIONATING THE CRYSTAL SLURRY INTO A SOLID FRACTION AND A LIQUID FRACTION.
