AN APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING DISINFECTANT WITH A PROPELLANT, CONTAINED IN A CANISTER (2) OF SAID APPARATUS, FOR SANITIZING AND PURIFYING AIR IN AN ENCLOSED SURROUNDING FOR HUMAN UTILITY AND MORE PARTICULARLY FOR DISPENSING DISINFECTANT PERIODICALLY IN DISCRETE CHARGES WITH SAID DISINFECTANT AND PROPELLANT BEING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY. THE TOTAL NUMBER OF DISCRETE DISCHARGES FROM THE APPARATUS WITH A FRESH CANISTER (2) TO PREFERABLY AVERAGE 600 IN NUMBER.
