Abstract

IN AN EXHAUST PATH A OF EXHAUST GAS, CARBONACENEOUS ABSORBENT IS BLOWN INTO THE EXHAUST GAS EXHAUST FROM AN ELECTRIC MELTING FURNACE 1, AND DIOXIN AND OTHER TOXIC SUBSTANCES INCLUDED IN THE EXHAUST GAS ARE ABSORBED BY THE BLOWN CARBONACENEOUS ABSORBENT. THE ABSORBENT HAVING ABSORBENT SUCH TOXIC SUBSTANCES IS COLLECTED BY FILTERS AND SUPPLIED INTO THE ELECTRIC MELTING FURNACE 1 AS A INITIAL - CARBON OR A CARBON INJECTION MATERIAL. THEREFORE, DIOXIN AND OTHER TOXIC SUBSTANCES INCLUDED IN THE EXHAUST GAS CAN BE EFFICIENTLY REMOVED AND THERE IS NO RISK OF MAKING THE ENVIRONMENT WORSE BY THE SECONDARY POLLUTION, WHICH MAY BE BROUGHT ABOUT BY THE DISPOSAL OF THE ABSORBENT HAVING ABSORBED THE TOXIC SUBSTANCES.(FIG 1)
