Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a pigmentos en forma de plaquetas que comprenden (a) una capa obtenida por calcinacion de una capa que comprende SiOz, en donde 0.03 ( z ( 2.0 y un metal, a un proceso para la produccion de los mismos y al uso de los mismos en pinturas, textiles, impresion por inyeccion de tinta, cosmeticos, composiciones de revestimiento, plasticos, tintas de impresion y en barnices para productos ceramicos y vidrio. El proceso mencionado anteriormente hace disponible pigmentos en forma de plaquetas que tienen un alto grado de paralelismo al plano y un espesor definido en el intervalo de ( 10 %, de manera preferente ( 5 %, el espesor promedio.
