Abstract

Un metodo y aparato para implementar la reduccion de patogenos dentro de una planta de procesamiento de aves o procesamiento de alimentos que usa agua que ha sido tratada con cloraminas en una dosis ventajosa antes de ser introducida al proceso de produccion en etapas de procesamiento. El agua tratada con las cloraminas puede ser de una fuente de agua fresca o agua rescatada de la planta de procesamiento. La reintroduccion del agua rescatada tratada provoca ventajosamente una reduccion dramatica en los niveles de microorganismos asociados con procesamiento de aves, mientras que conserva substancialmente el uso de agua.
