Abstract

La invencion describe una serie novedosa de compuesto representada por la formula general (I), sus derivados, analogos, formas tautomericas, estereoisomeros, polimorfos, sales farmaceuticamente aceptables, solvatos en donde X, n, k, z, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 y R6 son como se definieron en la especificacion que son utiles en (I) normalizacion de niveles de glucosa sanguinea elevados en la diabetes, (ii) tratamiento de padecimientos relacionados con la intolerancia a la glucosa y (iii) para barrido de radicales libres en mamiferos. La invencion describe tambien la composicion farmaceuticamente aceptable que comprende esos compuestos, el metodo para la preparacion de los compuestos como se definieron anteriormente y el metodo para tratar mamiferos incluyendo al ser humano por medio de la administracion de una cantidad efectiva de dichos compuestos a un sujeto que necesita de los mismos. La invencion describe ademas el uso de esos compuestos en la manufactura de un medicamento util para el tratamiento de diferentes condiciones de enfermedad como se establecio anteriormente.(ver formula I).
