Abstract
Esta invencion provee una aleacion a base de cobre, resistente al desgaste, que no puede solamente acrecentar la resistencia al desgaste en un rango de altas temperaturas, sino tambien acrecentar la resistencia al agrietamiento y la capacidad de maquinado, y que es especialmente adecuada para formar una capa de ceja de soldadura. La aleacion a base de cobre, resistente al desgaste, esta compuesta, por peso, de 5.0 a 20.0% de niquel, 0.5 a 5.0% de silicio, 3.0 a 20.0% de hierro, 1.0 a 15.0% de cromo, 0.01 a 2.00% de cobalto, 3.0 a 20.0% en peso de uno o mas de molibdeno, tungsteno y vanadio, y el resto de cobre de impurezas inevitables. Se prefiere que contenga 0.01 a 5.0% de carburo de niobio.
