Abstract
Aceite de motor usado (UMO) es re-procesado por vaporizacion y condensacion parcial. La fraccion de vapor de UMO del reactor termico (10) puede contener gasolina y solventes clorados, y contendra componentes en el rango de ebullicion del aceite lubricante, vaporizados, y tensioactivos u otros aditivos, en una cantidad suficiente para formar una emulsion si el vapor de UMO es condensado a una temperatura suficiente para producir una fase de agua liquida. Enfriamiento parcial del vapor en los medios de intercambio de calor (20), a una temperatura sobre el punto de ebullicion del agua, asegura que se produce un producto de hidrocarburo liquido, libre de emulsion, seco.
