Abstract

Se describe una mezcla de cemento de escoria y un proceso para elaborar la misma. La mezcla de cemento de escoria esta compuesta de escoria de cubilote y cemento portland. La escoria de cubilote esta opcionalmente granulada en grueso. Una modalidad del proceso incluye apagar rapidamente la escoria sumergiendola en agua o rociandole agua a esta, y moliendo el producto resultante para alcanzar una fineza de al menos 6,000 cm2/g. El proceso tambien incluye la adicion de escoria de cubilote granulada en grueso al cemento portland para alcanzar un cemento mas fuerte y mas resistente que el cemento portland solo.
