Abstract

Proceso y aparato para gasificacion de materiales orgánicos (típicamente incorporados en los desperdicios domésticos industriales, incluyendo desperdicios del reciclaje de automoviles) para producir un gas de síntesis util (con un contenido importante de CO y H2) y que produce un residuo efectivamente no toxico, por medio de por lo menos un quemador operado continuamente y preferiblemente balanceado estequiométricamente (1 : 2 para gas natural/oxigeno) por lo menos durante el arranque y paro del aparato, opcionalmente con algun exceso de oxígeno normalmente bajo condiciones estables, por ejemplo con una relacion 1 : 4 o más alta, especialmente si la carga tiene un contenido de humedad superior al 18%, dirigido hacia el interior de una primera zona de reaccion de una sola etapa, a través de una apertura comun también para descargar el gas producto efluente del reactor de tal manera que se asegura su contacto entre ambos gases, dicha zona contiene una carga en movimiento en una reactor rotatorio horizontal en forma de barril calentado a una temperatura entre 600 degree C y 800 degree C (interior, a la temperatura de fusion incipiente de la carga) resultando en una descomposicion térmica y una gasificacion de los materiales orgánicos de la carga y en la reaccion de los hidrocarburos complejos con los gases generados por la carga (1) normalmente con el CO2 y el H2 derivados de la combustion en el quemador de un combustible y un gas conteniendo oxígeno en una flama de alta temperatura típicamente 2500 a 3000 degree C, (2) con un exceso de oxígeno, y/o (3) parcialmente con H2O y CO2 adicionados a, o presentes en, la carga.
