Abstract

En un material cristalino poroso sintético que tiene la estructura de ZSM-5 y una composicion que involucra la relacion molar X2O3: (n)YO2, en donde X es un elemento trivalente; Y es un elemento tetravalente; y n es mayor que alrededor de 12, los cristales tienen una dimension principal de al menos alrededor de 0.5 micrones y una relacion de superficie de las estructura YO2/X2O3 que no es mayor que 20% menos que la relacion a granel de la estructura YO2/X2O3 del cristal. El material se sintetiza utilizando un aminoácido como agente director.
