Abstract
Se proporciona un proceso integrado para el tratamiento de gases de venteo para abatir las emisiones de monoxido de carbono y compuestos orgánicos volátiles de una planta de procesos químicos, e incluye provisiones para la oxidacion catalítica de contaminantes orgánicos con dioxígeno en una corriente de gas de venteo sobre un catalizador solido de oxidacion (44), medios para suministrar una contidad de fluido combustible (31) dentro de la corriente de gases de venteo corriente arriba de la oxidacion, para facilitar la oxidacion, catalítica de los contaminantes orgánicos; y medios para controlar la cantidad de fluido combustible que se está suministrando mediante los medios de suministro, los medios de control estando colocados para proporcionar reactivos suficientes para la oxidacion catalítica, para mantener temperaturas apropiadas de reaccion de conformidad con la presente invencion.
