Abstract

La invencion se refiere a nuevos y conocidos derivados de diona tricíclicos, de formula general (I), en donde W representa hidrogeno o alquilo inferior; X representa alquilo inferior; Y representa un átomo de oxígeno o NR1; R1 representa hidrogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxicarbonilo inferior o alcoxicarbonilo inferior-alquilo inferior; Z representa arilo o heteroarilo opcionalmente substituido con uno o más substituyentes halogeno, ciano, nitro, alquilo inferior, halogeno-alquilo inferior, alcoxilo inferior, halogeno-alcoxilo inferior, COR2, OCOR2, CO2R2, OR2, S(O)nR2, NR2R3, N(R4)COR5, Ar, Ar-alquilo inferior, Het o Het-alquilo inferior y/o en los átomos de carbono adyacentes con alquilendioxilo inferior; R2, R3, R4 y R5 representan cada uno individualmente substituyentes hidrogeno, alquilo inferior, Ar, Ar-alquilo inferior, Het o Het-alquilo inferior, o R2 y R3 juntos representan el grupo -CH=CH-CH=CH- o -CH=N-CH=CH-; Ar representa arilo opcionalmente substituido con uno o más substituyentes halogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxilo inferior o nitro; Het representa heteroarilo opcionalmente substituido con uno o más substituyentes halogeno, alquilo inferior, alcoxilo inferior o nitro; y representa 0, 1 o 2 y a sus sales, que son inhibidores de la timidina quinasa del virus del herpes simplex, en el tratamiento y profilaxis de infecciones causadas por el virus del herpes simplex.
