Abstract

Esta invencion se refiere a un diseño de empaque de crioconservacion, efectivo, de tejidos de mamífero, recolectados y equivalentes de tejido cultivado, vivo hechos por la tecnología in vitro. La invencion comprende sumergir un tejido de mamífero o equivalente de tejido cultivado en una solucion de crioprotector, agitar la solucion de crioprotector y el tejido sumergido para lograr la penetracion efectiva de la solucion de crioprotector en el tejido, y luego coagular el tejido a una velocidad de congelamiento muy lenta. En el paso de congelamiento, la formacion de hielo extracelular se inicia por sembrado. El tejido crioconservado se puede almacenar durante periodos indefinidos de tiempo antes del uso. El equivalente de tejido cultivado en un modelo in vitro del tejido humano equivalente, tal como piel o cornea, que cuando se recupera el almacenamiento se puede usar para el trasplante o implantacion in vivo o para examinar compuestos in vitro.
