Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a composiciones adhesivas y de recubrimiento, a base de poliuretano, que contienen polímeros de polidieno monohidroxilado, parcialmente insaturado, que están comprendidos de al menos dos monomeros polimerizables, eténicamente insaturados, en donde al menos uno es un monomero de dieno que produce una insaturacion adecuada para la conversion a epoxido. La invencion comprende preferentemente el uso de derivados, convertidos a epoxidos, de estos novedosos polímeros de polidieno, monohidroxilados, parcialmente insaturados, y derivados, convertidos a epoxidos, de polímeros de polidieno, monohidroxilados, insaturados, en esas composiciones adhesivas y para recubrimientos. El polímero de polidieno monohidroxilado, preferido, de la presente invencion, tiene la formula estructural (I) (HO)x-A-S2-B-(OH) en donde A y B son bloques de polímeros que pueden ser bloques homopoliméricos de monomeros de diolefinas, conjugadas, bloques copoliméricos de monomeros de diolefinas conjugadas, o bloques copoliméricos de monomeros de diolefinas y monomeros de hidrocarburos monoalquenilaromáticos. Los bloques A tienen un peso molecular desde 100 hasta 6,000, preferentemente desde 1090 hasta 3,000, y en la forma más preferente desde 500 hasta 2,000, y los bloques B tienen un peso molecular desde 1,000 hasta 15,000, preferentemente desde 3,000 hasta 7,000, y en la forma más preferentemente desde 2,000 hasta 6,000, S es un bloque de hidrocarburo vinilaromático que puede tener un peso molecular desde 500 hasta 10,000, x e y son 0 o 1 u cualesquiera de x o y debe ser 1 pero solamente uno a la vez puede ser 1. z es 0 0 1.
