Abstract

La invencion presenta un sistema de comunicacion para suministrar informacion, por ejemplo sobre objetos en pantalla, a usuarios que se encuentran provistos cada uno con un transceptor portátil, la cual se comunica con una unidad central, en la cual la informacion digital se almacena en bloques, los cuales pueden seleccionarse de manera individual en la consulta de cada transceptor individual y después transferirse y almacenarse en el transceptor de consulta, y mediante lo cual los bloques de informacion audible y visible en el transceptor bajo la orden del usuario. Cuando en tal sistema se utiliza compresion de informacion transferida y almacenada, da como resultado un tiempo de transmision mínimo y un requerimiento de almacenamiento mínimo. Preferentemente, la comunicacion toma lugar de manera inalámbrica por medio de radiacion infrarroja dentro de un área de accion. Además, se describe un dispositivo que permanece solo, con el cual los bloques de informacion pueden convertirse de igual modo en sonido audible y vídeo visible.
