Abstract
Se describe un método y un aparato para procesar llamadas telefonicas en base a los parámetros variables de las llamadas telefonicas. Un modo de red de telecomunicacion está conectado a una base de datos, la cual almacena los datos de preferencia del abonado telefonico que describen las preferencias del abonado. En una modalidad, la base de datos contiene los datos de preferencia del abonado que definen el tipo de servicios telefonicos que serán aplicados a las llamadas telefonicas que salen. Tras la recepcion de la llamada que sale en el nodo, el nodo efectua una busqueda en la base de datos usando los parámetros variables de la llamada telefonica y recupera una descripcion del servicio de la llamada telefonica. La descripcion del servicio de la llamada telefonica describe el tipo de servicio a aplicar a la llamada. La llamada se completa con los servicios descritos que son aplicados a la llamada. En otra modalidad, la base de datos contiene los datos de preferencia del abonado que definen las instrucciones de encaminamiento para las llamadas que entran. Tras la recepcion de la llamada que entra en el nodo, el nodo efectua una busqueda en la base de datos usando los parámetros variables de la llamada telefonica y recupera las instrucciones de encaminamiento. Las instrucciones de encaminamiento indican si la llamada deberá ser encaminada al abonado o a un destino alternativo. La llamada se completa encaminándola de acuerdo a las instrucciones de encaminamiento recuperadas.
