Abstract

Se proporcionan compuestos de ADN recombinante y vectores que codifican para una para-nitrobencilesterasa de Bacillous subtilis. La secuencia de ADN recién aislada proporcionada en la presente, se puede utilizar para producir actividad de PNB esterasa en grandes cantidades en células huésped recombinantes. Esta PNB esterasa es útil para la eliminación de los grupos bloqueadores utilizados en la fabricación de antibióticos de cefalosporina y 1-carbacefalosporina.
