Abstract
Se describen técnicas de reporte para mediciones de calidad recibida de señales de referencia (RSRQ). En una modalidad, por ejemplo, el equipo de usuario (UE) puede comprender al menos un transceptor de radiofrecuencia (RF), al menos una antena de RF, y lógica, de la cual al menos una porción se encuentra en hardware, la lógica para medir un indicador de resistencia de señal recibida (RSSI), determinar un valor de cantidad medida de calidad recibida de señal de referencia (RSRQ) basado en el RSSI medido, y mapear el valor de cantidad medida de RSRQ en un valor de informe de RSRQ de acuerdo con el esquema de mapeo de informes de medición de RSRQ que comprende un margen de informe de RSRQ extendido de acuerdo con el cual uno o más valores de informes de RSRQ definidos corresponden a valores de cantidad medida de RSRQ que excede -3 dB.
