Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a materiales para fabricar fundas de cable, particularmente para cables verticales y de pleno. Los materiales proporcionan baja inflamabilidad y permiten que el cable cumpla con las indicaciones UL 910 o NFPA-262 o UL 1666. La composición contiene resina de cloruro de polivinilo (PVC), un plastificante, octamolibdato de amonio, un compuesto de molibdato, un estabilizador, un lubricante, trihidrato de aluminio y i) partículas de óxido de metal, ii) un politetrafluoroetileno (PTFE), iii) un compuesto intumescente o iv) combinaciones de estos.
