Abstract
Se describe un método, aparato y programa informático que comprende: aplicar un borde de pulso a un circuito resonante que comprende un elemento inductivo (para calentar inductivamente un susceptor) y un condensador, en donde el borde de pulso aplicado induce una respuesta de pulso entre el condensador y el elemento inductivo del circuito resonante, en donde la respuesta de pulso tiene una frecuencia de resonancia; determinar un periodo o frecuencia de la frecuencia de resonancia de dicha respuesta de pulso; y convertir el periodo o frecuencia determinados en una distancia basada, al menos en parte, en un gradiente de distancia y una primera medición de calibración. La distancia se basa en una separación entre el elemento inductivo y el susceptor y la primera medición de calibración comprende la separación entre el elemento inductivo y el susceptor a una temperatura de calibración.
