Abstract

A cartridge (2) for an aerosol provision system. The cartridge (2) comprises an air channel extending from an air inlet (50) to an outlet (60) via an aerosol generation region (43). The cartridge (2) also comprises a heating element (40) for heating liquid from a reservoir (63) to generate aerosol and an aerosol outlet tube (38). The aerosol outlet tube (38) has a first end (38A) and a second end (38B). The first end (38A) is proximate to the aerosol generation region (43) and second end (38B) is configured to fit inside an air channel seal (34). The aerosol outlet tube (38) tapers inwardly from the first end (38A) to the second end (38B) such that a cross-sectional area of the second end (38B) is less than a cross-sectional area of the first end (38A). The cartridge (2) is configured such that air passes from the air inlet (50), into the aerosol generating region (43), through the aerosol outlet tube (38), past the air channel seal (34) and then out from the outlet (60).
