Abstract

La presente invención está dirigida a dispositivos, sistemas y métodos para detectar y discernir si una parte distal de una cánula o sonda de injerto de grasa está dispuesta en tejido graso o tejido muscular durante los procedimientos de injerto de grasa. En un aspecto de la presente invención, se proporciona una cánula o sonda de injerto de grasa que incluye un primer y un segundo electrodo. Cada electrodo está acoplado a un circuito, por ejemplo, dispuesto en un generador electroquirúrgico. Durante un procedimiento de injerto de grasa, los electrodos entran en contacto con el tejido del paciente. Basándose en las señales recibidas de cada electrodo, el circuito está configurado para determinar si una porción distal de la cánula de injerto de grasa está dispuesta en tejido graso o tejido muscular.
