Abstract

La copolimerización de etileno con un comonómero opcional se lleva a cabo en la presencia de un catalizador que tiene una estructura de ligando de ariloxiéter específica. El proceso permite conversiones muy altas de etileno a polietileno con tiempos de residencia muy cortos cuando se lleva a cabo en condiciones de presiones de al menos 10.3 MPa y altas concentraciones de alimentación de etileno de 70 a 150 gramos por litro.
