Abstract
Un material termoestable que contiene ß-hidroxiésteres en el que dicho material termoestable está sometido a un proceso mecanoquímico para regenerar un epóxido y una funcionalidad de ácido carboxílico. Se crea un curativo para aceites epoxidados de origen vegetal y caucho natural epoxidado a partir de la reacción entre un ácido polifuncional de origen natural y un aceite epoxidado a base de plantas. El curativo se puede utilizar para producir resinas fundibles sin porosidad y vulcanizar formulaciones de caucho basadas en caucho natural epoxidado. Los materiales hechos a partir de materiales descritos pueden ser utilizados ventajosamente como sustitutos del cuero.
