Abstract
Un método para actualizar un área de seguimiento en una red no terrestre comprende determinar, en un nodo de red, que un área de seguimiento actual en una red no terrestre esté expirando; determinar, en el nodo de red, al menos un área de seguimiento de destino en la red no terrestre; y difundir, a por lo menos un equipo de usuario en la por lo menos un área de seguimiento de destino, información de sistema que comprenda información de la por lo menos un área de seguimiento de destino. El área de seguimiento de destino se determina con base en un mapeo preconfigurado que comprende al menos un código de área de seguimiento de destino correspondiente a una identidad celular de un nodo de red de destino dentro de un período de tiempo o con base en el movimiento de un satélite.
