Abstract

Se describe una estructura compuesta multicapa. La estructura compuesta multicapa tiene por lo menos una capa de cubierta basada en polímero, por ejemplo, un polímero acrílico, estirénico o de acrilonitrilo y por lo menos una capa interna o de sustrato basado en poliéster. También se describen métodos de formación de estructuras compuestas multicapa para mejorar y controlar el nivel de adhesión entre capas. Se pueden usar capas de enlace para mejorar y controlar el nivel de adhesión entre las capas. Una capa exterior opcional por encima de la capa de cubierta puede contener polímeros de fluoruro de polivinilideno (PVDF). La estructura compuesta multicapa combina los atributos de ambos polímeros, esto es, la alta estabilidad UV, resistencia al rayado y excelente apariencia de la capa externa de cubierta basada en polímero, y la fuerza y resistencia al impacto de la capa interna basada en poliéster.
