Abstract

Se proporcionan métodos para almacenar y conservar material comestible de crustáceos, preferiblemente para extender la vida útil del mismo. En un método opcional, el material comestible de crustáceos se coloca en un espacio contenedor de producto de un contenedor de almacenamiento sobre una plataforma de una estructura de soporte. El contenedor de almacenamiento incluye un compartimento interno que tiene el espacio contenedor de producto. La estructura de soporte define la plataforma para soportar el material comestible de crustáceos. El compartimento interno incluye además un depósito, configurado para retener líquido, debajo de la plataforma. La plataforma y/o la estructura de soporte están configuradas para dirigir el líquido exudado desde el material comestible de crustáceos al depósito. Opcionalmente, el depósito comprende un material absorbente para absorber líquido en el depósito.
