Abstract
Sistemas y métodos asociados para detectar e indicar cuándo una amplia variedad de tejido se cauteriza y/o sella adecuadamente por un instrumento electroquirúrgico. El sistema monitorea indirectamente la corriente que fluye a través del tejido y determina la conveniencia de la cauterización de tejidos o sellado de uno o más vasos al monitorear cuándo la corriente es estable o casi estable (es decir, cuando la corriente es constante). El sistema también puede indicar un tiempo predeterminado en que la corriente se aplica a través del tejido, y controlar el flujo de energía a través del tejido.
