Abstract
La invención proporciona un método para producir fácilmente un bloque de máquina (1) para una máquina de combustión, el bloque de máquina (1) tiene una cubierta (A), por lo menos una abertura de cilindro (2, 3, 4, 5) y una camisa abierta de agua (10), la cual está formada en el bloque de máquina (1) entre una pared de cilindro (6, 7, 8, 9) que define la abertura de cilindro (2, 3, 4, 5) y una pared exterior (15), en donde se proporciona una cara de contacto (11) en la parte superior de la cubierta (A) para montaje de un cabezal de cilindro de la máquina de combustión, la abertura de cilindro (2, 3, 4, 5) y la abertura (12) de la camisa de agua (10) están formadas en la cara de contacto (11), el método comprende las siguientes etapas de proceso: a) proporcionar un bloque de máquina (1) con una abertura (12) de camisa abierta de agua; b) colocar un inserto (20) en la abertura (12) de camisa de agua, la forma del inserto (20) está adaptada a la forma de la abertura (12) de camisa de agua de tal manera que el inserto (20), cuando está siendo colocado, cierra al menos parcialmente la abertura (12) de camisa de agua y puentea la distancia entre la pared exterior (15) y la pared de cilindro (6, 7, 8, 9), soportando de este modo la pared de cilindro (6, 7, 8, 9) contra la pared exterior (15) del bloque de máquina (1); y c) fijar el inserto (20) en la abertura (12) de camisa de agua mediante soldadura por fricción. Un bloque de máquina producido correspondientemente muestra las ventajas de un bloque de máquina de cubierta cerrado.
