Abstract

Un método para preparar un catalizador que comprende a) poner en contacto (i) un soporte de sílice, (ii) un compuesto de oxotitanio, (iii) un compuesto que contiene cromo y (iv) un solvente opcional para formar una primera mezcla acuosa que comprende un precatalizador y un medio de reacción que tiene de 1% en peso a 99% en peso de agua; b) tratar térmicamente el precatalizador con calentamiento a una temperatura de 400°C a 1000°C durante un período de tiempo de 1 minuto a 24 horas para formar el catalizador. Un método para preparar un catalizador que comprende poner en contacto un material de soporte hidratado que comprende sílice con un compuesto que contiene cromo para formar una primera mezcla acuosa que comprende un soporte cromado; poner en contacto la primera mezcla acuosa que comprende un soporte cromado con una solución que comprende (i) un solvente y (ii) un compuesto de oxotitanio para formar una segunda mezcla acuosa que comprende un precatalizador; y tratar térmicamente el precatalizador para formar el catalizador.
