Abstract
La invención proporciona composiciones y métodos relacionados con la producción de plantas Cucumis melo con Brix elevado y/o color de fruta mejorado; la invención proporciona además plantas, partes de planta y semillas que comprenden dicho Brix elevado; la invención permite la introgresión del QTL de Brix elevado identificado en un ambiente genético deseado de una especie de planta sexualmente compatible.
