Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la producción de nanocápsulas que contienen nanopartículas magnéticas, que se pueden emplear como catalizadores de polimerización termolatente, en particular para la polimerización de poliuretanos, por medio de un proceso de alto cizallamiento, en donde el proceso comprende: (i) emulsionar una primera mezcla de reacción (a) en una fase continua acuosa, que comprende al menos un estabilizador, en donde la primera mezcla de reacción, basada en el peso total de la mezcla de reacción, 10.0 a 99.0% en peso de una mezcla de monómeros, en donde la mezcla de monómeros, basada en el peso total de la mezcla de monómeros comprende: (a1) 2.5 a 19.0% en peso, en particular 5.0 a 12.0% en peso, de al menos un monómero de ácido carboxílico C3-5 monoetilénicamente insaturado; (a2) 76.0 a 97.5% en peso, en particular 85.0 a 95.0% en peso, de al menos un monómero de éster C1-10-alquílico del ácido C3-5-carboxílico monoetilénicamente insaturado; y (a3) 0.0 a 5.0% en peso, de al menos un monómero que porta al menos dos grupos etilénicamente insaturados; (ii) emulsionar una segunda mezcla de reacción (b) en una fase acuosa continua, en donde la segunda mezcla de reacción, basada en el peso total de la mezcla de reacción comprende: (b1) 1.0 a 80.0% en peso, de nanopartículas magnéticas; (b2) opcionalmente de 0.0 a 70.0% en peso de al menos un catalizador o iniciador de polimerización; (b3) opcionalmente de 0.0 a 89.0% en peso de al menos un agente de liberación hidrófobo, y (b4) opcionalmente de 0.0 a 10.0% en peso de al menos un compuesto ultrahidrófobo distinto del agente de liberación; (iii) combinar la primera mezcla de reacción de la etapa (i) y la segunda mezcla de reacción de la etapa (ii); y (iv) polimerizar los monómeros. Los invención además se refiere a las nanocápsulas producidas por medio de los procesos descritos, al uso de las mismas, y a agentes que contienen estas nanocápsulas.
