Abstract

Se proporciona una composición de resina termoplástica que puede proporcionar artículos moldeados que son no solamente altamente rígidos sino también inhibidos para generar sonido de golpeo, la cual tiene un módulo de flexión de 1850 MPa o mayor según medición de acuerdo con ISO 178 y tiene un valor máximo de presión de sonido de 2.0 Pa/N o menor según determinación en un rango de 20 a 20,000 Hz con base en un espectro de frecuencias de presión de sonido obtenidas mediante golpeo del centro de una superficie de una pieza de prueba con una fuerza de 20 ± 5 N con el uso de un martillo de acero inoxidable y recogiendo un sonido generado en ese momento con el uso de una micrófono de presión de sonido colocado a una distancia de 12cm perpendicularmente a la superficie anterior, la pieza de prueba que es un artículo moldeado integralmente que tiene un cuerpo rectangular principal que es de 120 mm de largo, 60 mm de ancho y 3 mm de grosor y está provisto con un extremo superior del mismo con una protuberancia trapezoidal que tiene una base superior de 20 mm y una base inferior de 40 mm, es de 8 mm de altura y 1.5 mm de grosor y que está suspendida de la protuberancia por dos cuerdas con cinta.
