Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a variantes de proteasa, que presentan una mejora de las propiedades en comparación con la proteasa progenitora, en particular variantes de una serinproteasa que pertenece a la familia 53 obtenida a partir de una cepa de Meripilus giganteus. Las variantes de acuerdo con la invención presentan en particular un incremento de la termoestabilidad, por ejemplo, un incremento de la actividad residual después de 30 min a una temperatura en el intervalo de 55 a 65 °C y/o incremento de la temperatura de desnaturalización térmica, en comparación con la proteasa de Meripilus giganteus progenitora. La presente invención también se refiere a polinucleótidos que codifican las variantes; a constructos de ácido nucleico, vectores y células huésped que comprenden los polinucleótidos; y a métodos para usar las variantes.
