Abstract
La presente divulgación se refiere a métodos, aparatos o sistemas para formatear corrientes de video inmersivo compatibles hacia atrás. Al menos un video rectangular de legado es capturado desde un video inmersivo obtenido desde una fuente. Se utiliza un conjunto de datos de control de cámara para determinar cuáles partes del video inmersivo constituirán los videos de legado. Estas partes son removidas del video inmersivo y cada uno de los videos preparados son empacados en una corriente. La estructura de la corriente es un contenedor. Datos de información referentes a la ubicación y tamaño de las partes removidas pueden ser agregados en la corriente.
