Abstract
Un agente de curado para moldeo de vidrio acuoso comprende: éster; sílice amorfa; y agua. La sílice amorfa se forma por medio de un método de pirolisis y/o por medio de un método de precipitación. También se divulga un uso del agente de curado para moldear vidrio soluble en la preparación de un molde de fundición y un núcleo de molde. Los componentes respectivos del agente de curado que comprende éster, sílice amorfa y agua se mezclan a alta velocidad para formar una suspensión. Posteriormente, se aplica la suspensión para preparar una arena que se endurece por sí sola de vidrio soluble. El agente de curado no causa contaminación del polvo, y se puede medir y agregar de manera conveniente. También se describe un método de fabricación del agente de curado para moldeo de vidrio soluble y arena que se endurece por sí sola de vidrio soluble.
