Abstract
Un método para producir syngas que comprende recibir syngas crudo de una unidad de gasificación; introducir el syngas crudo y agua a un lavador de syngas para producir syngas no desplazado; introducir una primera porción de syngas no desplazado a una primera unidad de enfriamiento para producir syngas no desplazado enfriado y un primer condensado acuoso que comprende cianuro en una cantidad de 5-200 ppmw; reciclar el primer condensado acuoso al lavador de syngas; introducir una segunda porción de syngas no desplazado a una unidad de desplazamiento de gas de agua para producir syngas desplazado; introducir el syngas desplazado a una segunda unidad de enfriamiento para producir syngas desplazado enfriado y un segundo condensado acuoso que comprende cianuro en una cantidad de menos de 2.5 ppmw; poner en contacto el syngas desplazado enfriado con el syngas no desplazado enfriado para producir syngas modificado; introducir el segundo condensado acuoso a un depurador de agua ácida para producir agua depurada y un gas ácido que comprende H2S, CO2, y amoníaco.
