Abstract

La presente invención está dirigida a un panel de construcción que tiene una estructura laminada, la estructura laminada que incluye una capa de recubrimiento final que comprende una primera composición intumescente, una capa de chapa celulósica, una capa adhesiva formada de una composición adhesiva que comprende una segunda composición intumescente, y una capa de sustrato metálico y en donde la capa de chapa celulósica se une al menos parcialmente al sustrato metálico por la capa adhesiva. El panel de construcción resultante exhibe retardo de llamas superior que da por resultado una clasificación de resistencia al fuego de clase A, de acuerdo con ASTM E-84.
